Spring Forward

Love it or hate it, it’s here!! In case you didn’t know, daylight savings time is upon us again and we will officially say good-bye to winter on the 20th. I’m a big baby when it comes to this robber of 60 minutes of slumber. I yam. I really yam. (Popeye) 😀 Seems like yesterday we were saying, “HAPPY NEW YEAR!” Once again, here I am focusing on time and Antoine is sitting next to me shaking his head.

The “spring forward” saying reminds me of one of my favorite Israel Houghton songs, Moving Forward. We can’t waste anytime dwelling on the past and we shouldn’t carry the baggage from the past into our present or future. Philippians 3:13, 14 says, 13 Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.

Stay focused and know that no matter what, nothing is bigger than God.

Just blogging it out . . .Oh and Happy Friday! Have a Blessed and Safe Weekend!
